Vogel is one of the ski resorts in Slovenia, where you can ride on natural snow even in mid-April. Since Vogel is located in the nearest high mountains that stand in the way of clouds from the Adriatic Sea, more snow falls here compared to other parts of the Alps.
The Vogel Ski Center is located above the beautiful Lake Bohinj. It is part of the Triglav National Park. In summer, the bus will take you directly to the lower station of the Vogel cable car. In winter, you can get to Vogel by ski bus, which passes through all the villages of Bohinja and Bled. There is a parking lot in front of the lower station of the Vogel cable car, where you can park your car or bus for a fairly long time.
