The new freestyle center is open to both sports teams and ordinary skiers who meet FIS standards. For example, the length of the Battery Run route is 225 meters, the height difference is 106 meters, respectively, the slope is 53% or 28 degrees. Try the mogul track – if you dare, of course!

The resort Arm is expanding: construction of the second resort base RukaValley on the eastern slope and a new gondola cable car.

The all-season multi-specialty resort Ruka has announced plans to build a second resort base “RukaValley” on the eastern slope and a gondola cable car that will connect it with the already existing RukaVillage resort on the western slope. The construction of the gondola road (Village-2-Valley) is planned to be completed this fall. The journey between RukaValley and RukaVillage through the top of the hill will take about 6 minutes. In total, 1700 new beds are planned in” RukaValley”, 400 of which will be in the new hotel, which will open in December 2019. In addition to the cable car in a picturesque area, a new fast 6-seat chairlift “Village Express” is being built at the resort, which will increase the capacity to 3,000 people per hour and reduce the travel time by half: now you can reach the top in just 2 minutes.
